(Civil Project) Housing Development

The project consists in nine single-family detached houses with a residential activity building. This project is designed to suit the inhabitants who live in Halmstad. It includes green areas to walk, playing areas and gardens. However, for many months the weather in Halmstad is relatively cold, therefore, the project includes a common building where residents can play sports, relax, meet even sunbathe. This will enhance the status of the area.

(Management Project) Bottlenecks in the Freight Forwarding sector in West Coast Africa

Problem – The expansion of global trade and supply chain integration has put great emphasis on logistics, particularly in the intermediary sector, freight forwarders. Whilst in developed countries freight forwarders benefit from competitive markets and trade facilitating policies, this sector in West coast Africa exhibits low logistics performance levels.

(Mechanical Project) Hydraulic Regenerative System for a Light Vehicle

The project is based in a constructed light vehicle that must be improved by adding a hydraulic energy recovery system. This vehicle named as TrecoLiTH, participated in the Formula Electric and Hybrid competition (Formula EHI) 2009 in Italy -Rome- and won several awards.

(Computer Project) Properties of ‘Good’ Java Examples

Example programs are well known as an important tool to learn computer programming. Realizing the significance of example programs, this study has been conducted with a goal to measure and evaluate the quality of examples used in academia. We make a distinction between good and bad examples, as badly designed examples may prove harmful for novice learners.

(Electronics Project) Design Space Exploration Of Field Programmable Counter Arrays And Their Integration With FPGAs

Field Programmable Counter Arrays (FPCAs) have been recently introduced to close the gap between FPGA and ASICs for arithmetic dominated applications. FPCAs are reconfigurable lattices that can be embedded into FPGAs to efficiently compute the result of multi-operand additions.
